I think it would be a good idea to add a Guide & Tutorial section in the forum, we could make here communautary guides and tutorials. I know there is such a thing in XT forum but over the time it will probably have tons of tutorials related to things we don't do in EE (like PVE or so) and we can't change guides that don't fit our vision of wow. Moreover it would be totally different from an usual Tutorial section because tutorials wont be made by one person only but by the whole guild.
I suggest for example that we start a Guide (maybe a Warlock PVP Guide or just a General PVP Guide), make 2 posts, one with the guide, edited over and over and a second post where people would discuss on changes we can add or not in the topic. So we keep the guide topic clean for questions from others members etc... And we can delete the second post once the guide is decided to be finished.

Making it soon will allowed us to make guides for most of the classes, macro guide, general pvp guide, arena, bg, etc... So members who joins us or just want to increase the general pvp level of the server can improve themself in our forum.

At the moment, we have PvP Tactics, where can all tutorials be made. Only in members area of course. We also got UI and Macros section...

Anyways, if you want one section more, it's absolutely OK for me. Made a poll about it's visibility.

I voted that it should be visible for everyone, why ?
A guild can't be famous of something if no one knows what's going in there. Plus, like i said in the first post, i prefer having challenge in pvp than powning everything around, so everything that can improve the pvp level should be open to everyone.

I don't know what's in the member's only section but apart from irl or important stuff that doesn't care to anyone else than the guild or needs to be hidden like the recent face post or a calendar section with prepared raid or stuff i don't see what needs to be hidden to the XT community.

I think it would be great if people from other important guilds in the server could come here and share ideas or grab some info making EE a pillar of XT. Plus we would be known for our great tutorials, i don't see anything bad that could come out of it.

Anyway, it's just my way to see it.

You made a good point, I will make it visible to all. If someone want to start a PEACEFUL argument, we are interested to see your opinion.

In my opinion should be for members only, otherwise anyone who just entered would be able to just read it, its not realy a problem but its kinda exploration of our forums I guess... I wouldn't like that someone who isn't even worthy of becoming a member on forums to read my guide and if he want just get out of the forum and never come back... I think its kinda ..... weird, dunno, this is just my opinion =p

Well, it's exactly how works wikipédia, some people work on the info and the others just go read it without sharing their own info and leave once they got what they needed.

And what you pointed out as a disadvantage is exactly why i would like to show it ^^. I do want people to come, read, learn and leave without anyone knowing that they just came. It increases people knowledge of pvp and make us play with better partner and better opponent.
Also people from other pvp guild wouldn't be able to be a member of EE since they have their own guild and so wouldn't be able to have acces to our guide even if their will is big (for example, if we open them to everyone, i'm pretty sure that people from other guild will be active in our forum to debate about pvp, even if they aren't a lot, it will add a great input in our database).

But i get what you said, yes some people will just be selfish, look the guides and leave, glad they got info without moving anything but one finger to click and go back to their life without answering a "thx" or whatever. I personnaly don't care but i know irl people that are pissed off by that kind of people and so i know what you are talking about but i don't think this can prevail on the other aspect of opening guides.

After going 200-0 in arena on cozywow, I'd say make the guides avaliable to everone. Hell even give private lessons to strangers when needed. Afterall we'll most likely outplay everyone anyway, why not make it more fun!?

p.s. Human female DK teached me how to play Vritra after a battle in eye of the storm where he beated me on like 80-90% health after more than 60 seconds of fighting (he was joking with me around in deadly)...
